Samsung Eco Bubble Power Issue
Hello to you all and thanks in advance for taking the time to help me with my issue.
I have the Samsung Eco Bubble wf70f5e2w2x that currently has some power issues. I turn on the device, select the programme and press start. The machine starts it's usual precedure such as locking the door and starting to fill and then I hear the power off tone the machine plays when you turn it off.
It then turns itself back on, and then off again and so forth. It's now the 2nd day and now it doesn't even play the tune any more and just cuts in and out in a few seconds interval.
I have ensured that the water flow is good and that the filter is also clear from debris. The fuse has also been checked.
My question is that it could be the I internal electrics and to test the current. My assumption would be either a wire is lose or the board is faulty?
Of so, do you recommend testing with a multimeter or does this problem sound like a common fault and you have an idea what it could be?
Many thanks again
Phil
Solution Summary
AI-generated from this discussion
This thread was marked as solved. Here's a summary of the problem and the fix, generated from the discussion below.
Samsung Eco Bubble WF70F5E2W2X powers off and on during cycle start
- The problem
- Samsung Eco Bubble WF70F5E2W2X powers up, allows programme selection, locks the door and starts to fill, then switches itself off and back on repeatedly. The fault worsened to cutting in and out every few seconds without playing the normal power-off tune.
- Likely cause
- A power supply interruption was suspected. The accepted reply suggested checking for a faulty wall socket or loose neutral because the fault appeared under load. However, this was not confirmed, as the machine still cut out after a short period on a different socket. No confirmed internal fault was identified from the discussion.
- What fixed it
- The only documented advice was to try the appliance on a completely different wall socket to rule out a supply problem. As the symptom returned after about three minutes on an alternative socket, the exact repair was not confirmed. Further diagnosis should be carried out by a suitably qualified appliance engineer.
- Checks to try
- Water flow checked and reported good
- Filter checked and reported clear of debris
- Fuse checked
- Machine tested on an alternative wall socket
Safety: Further diagnosis should be carried out by a suitably qualified appliance engineer.

Have you tried it in a totally different wall socket in case there is a fault on the socket? I once had a microwave that worked ok but then petered out when you set it running. It turned out to be a loose neutral wire in the wall socket which caused a problem when it drew too much power.

Hi Andy,
No I haven't tried this so will try this when I get back tonight.
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly and also a thinks for setting up this site and helping everyone.
Unfortunately the problem still persists. Did thought the problem was solved as once plugged in in an alternative socket. It ran for 3 minutes without cutting out and then the problem came back again.
Any other ideas?
