Why is my fridge not cooling?
If the fridge is warm but the freezer is fine, common causes are a blocked airflow vent, a failed evaporator fan, a frosted-up coil, or a thermostat fault. If both sections are warm, suspect the compressor or a refrigerant fault. Tell us which parts are warm and the model.
Why is my fridge freezing food?
Food freezing in the fridge usually means the thermostat is set too low, the airflow damper has failed, or items are sitting right by the cold air outlet at the back. Try a middle setting and move food away from the back wall. Let us know your model if it continues.
Why is there water at the bottom of my fridge?
Water pooling inside is normally a blocked defrost drain — it usually clears with warm water poured down the drain hole at the back of the fridge. Water on the floor can be the same drain or a door seal letting warm, moist air in. Describe where it appears.
Why is my freezer icing up?
Excess frost is usually a door seal that is not sealing, the door being opened too often, or a failed auto-defrost (heater or sensor) on frost-free models. Check the seal grips a sheet of paper all the way round. Tell us the brand and model.
