Why won't my robot vacuum charge or dock?
Charging and docking issues are usually dirty charging contacts (on both the robot and the dock), the dock being moved or unplugged, or a tired battery. Wipe the contacts, leave the dock in an open spot against a wall, and check the battery age. Tell us the model and what the lights or app show.
Why won't my robot vacuum connect to the app or wifi?
Most pairing failures come down to a 5GHz-only network (most robots need 2.4GHz), a weak signal where the dock sits, or app permissions. Make sure you are on the 2.4GHz band during setup. Tell us the brand and the exact point it fails.
Why isn't my robot vacuum picking up dirt?
Poor pickup is usually a full bin, a clogged filter, a tangled main brush, or worn side brushes. Empty and clean everything and check the brushes spin freely. Let us know the model if it does not improve.
Why is my robot vacuum not mapping or navigating?
Navigation faults are often dirty sensors or lidar, poor lighting for camera-based models, or the robot being picked up and moved mid-clean. Wipe the sensors gently and let it run a fresh mapping run. Post the model and any error it reports.
What do robot vacuum error codes mean?
Each brand uses its own codes for things like a stuck wheel, a brush jam, a cliff sensor, or a full bin. Post the exact code or spoken message and your model and we can tell you what it means.
