Emergency Drain Hose

Hello Guila. You need to take the kick strip off at the bottom of the machine at the front. The drain tube should just fit onto a spout on the pump. I've no idea why they keep coming off - must be a very bad design. If one came off mid-cycle it would completely flood the kitchen.

Hi, I have an issue where my emergency draining tube has come out and I need to try to put it back in, what exactly am I looking for when I put it in? Can't really put it on it's side so we are going to try and hold it on the angle while my partner attempts to put it back in but should we be looking for anything in particular? Tried googling what it looks like and I can't for the life of me find anything. We have a samsung WF7708N6W1

Hi I have a Beko front loader BFL7510W went to clean out lint filter and when I went to replace emergency drainage hose it went to far and is now inside machine what do I need to do to retrieve it please

It's a shame, as it should be simple to refit. But if you can't work out how to get the kick-strip off it's probably best to get someone in. Let us know how you get on.

Many thanks, we did try to do this but gave up in the end. I agree the draining hose must have been poorly fitted as it really did not take much for it to come off! We are going to get someone in to fix it.

Try taking off the kick strip (the plastic bezel at the front base of the machine). Usually you can gently lever it off placing a small flat bladed screwdriver between the bottom of the front panel and the top of the plastic kick strip or check for screws. Once the kick strip is off you should be able to see where the hose attaches. Alternatively you'd need to lay the machine over onto its front (make sure all water is drained out first) so you can see underneath where the pump is. This small draining hose seems very poorly fitted. I would make sure it was properly secured - probably by drying it out and fitting a cable tie on it.

We have this exact same problem with our Samsung washing machine. I managed to pull the tube out and I have no strength so it did not take much, but now we cannot see how to reattach. Have had the machine on its side etc. Did you manage to do this?

You will need to try and take off the kick strip panel or disconnect and lay the machine over on its back to investigate. Then it should be obvious where it goes, which should be attached to the pump. I'm surprised it would come off, should be much more secure than that. If it comes off it will flood the kitchen. Make sure it's fixed on properly (maybe use a cable tie).

Hi, I have the same question as the OP. The issue is that the emergency drain hose was used to drain water. In the process it became disconnected from where it attached INSIDE the machine. Now it is disconnected so the washer can't be used otherwise the water will end up on the floor. The question is, how is the emergency drain house reconnected INSIDE the washing machine?

I have the small plastic bung drain plug with me now, as I had to drain the pump manually & remove the drain plug. However, when I went to try & attach the pump back & put the drain plug back on, the drain hose fell through the hole of the lower cover cap & I can't get the pump back. Do I have to remove the lower cover or can I don something else? I understand from your reply that I DO need the drain plug back fixed as I can't use the machine otherwise. I can't see any screws or anything in the manual about what I need to do next.

If we are talking about a small rubber or plastic hose at the side of the pump filter that is used to drain the washing machine in the event of the washing machine getting stuck full of water I can't see how that hose could come off without the washing machine flooding the kitchen. The only thing I can think of that would allow that hose to come completely off without water flooding onto the floor is if there is a large item of laundry like a sock or something physically blocking the pump.

I have a similar problem with my LG F12B8QDA washing machine as the original forumite to this topic, so would appreciate a solution to the problem as well.
