Extra water on the fabric softener compartment
Hi,
Recently my Beko washing machine has been leaving the fabric softener section of the drawer full of water.
The clothes come out not smelling of the softener at all. I've noticed that when the machine is spinning at its fastest water is being released into the drawer and starting the siphoning process early. It is almost like the a coughing noise with small sprays of water releasing into the draw.
I have tried everything to fix this, a slower spin, cleaning the drawer, cleaning the jets, reducing the water pressure with no avail.
Are there any other suggestions on what could be wrong and causing this.
Thanks

Hello Ben. I have an article about the problem of the fabric conditioner compartment left full of water which is normally caused by a blocked siphon tube but yours is an interesting fault regarding water coming back into the dispenser and setting off the siphoning. If water is coming into the soap drawer compartment during spin the main suspect is a partial blockage in the pump filter or somewhere in the pump system.
If water can't be pumped away fast enough it will stay inside the spinning drum and be forced back up the dispenser hose. Check the pump filter first. If there is a partial blockage in the pump system causing it to pump out too slowly but the pump filter is clear there can be blockages elsewhere so check out this article too - can't find a blockage but the pump filter isn't blocked
Also, make sure you aren't overloading the machine first.
