Foamy water left behind, machine not rinsing
Hi, I have checked the FAQ section and I can't find any answer that will help me. I have had a Miele W3922 WPS for about 10 years now which has been working brilliantly. I moved house into a new build which is a shared ownership with housing association, and one of the eco elements they have included is a water flow restrictor under the sink. It appears to be connected only to the sink taps, and those are restricted so that the flow is abysmal. Elsewhere in the house the water flow is fine.
It's become clear that since moving here the machine is no longer rinsing clothes properly. Each wash I have to do an additional rinse to get rid of the suds (dilute but present), and then I spin at 1600rpm too, sometimes there are still suds spinning out. Sometimes the machine also gives a check detergent error. I'm using Ariel dissolvable liquid caps that go in the drum, and have been since prior to the move.
I spoke to Miele, and they have said it does sound like a low water pressure issue, and at the time I spoke to them I didn't realise the washing machine feed is separate.
So is there a way of working out if its something to do with the pipes/water pressure or whether its the machine, or even it's something else!
Thanks,
PS I have tried to attach a picture of the pipes but the file is too big, so I'll try and fix that now and get back to you!

I have an article about Low water pressure and washing machines
If your problem was related to low water pressure I would expect the washing machine to throw up errors all the time. They only allow a set amount of time to fill to the correct level with water. If it can't because pressure is too low they will usually abort the cycle and produce an error code. So conversely if they carry on the wash cycle OK it implies that enough water did get in. I suppose it's possible for just enough to get in but ideally more would be better.
Poor rinsing and lots of suds in the drum during spin can also be caused by a partially blocked pump filter or a partial blockage somewhere else (sometimes in the u-bend where the drain hose attaches to the sink). I would definitely check the pump filter, but also read the low water pressure article.
