Beko
Hi
Wondering if someone has this problem and knows how to fix it.. I have a Beko front loader and it was working fine last time i used it and after that i turned it off, today when i went to use it i put the washing in and set it after a while i noticed that i couldn't hear anything so i checked and it said end but the washing powder was still in the tray and some of the clothes were wet so i closed the door and pressed start and all it does now is go from the start display to draining the water (or trying to) and then bling end and start all over again..Only way i could get my clothes out was to turn the power off and wait to open the door. Now when i turn the power on it flashes the time the program takes and doesn't let me cancell

It sounds like the washer is aborting the cycle very early and either thinks it still has water inside, or it isn’t locking/starting properly. Because the detergent is left in the drawer, it likely never got into a proper fill and wash stage.
Try these checks in order:
1. Drain/filter check Unplug the machine from the mains first. Open the pump filter flap (usually bottom front) and check the filter for coins, lint, hair grips, etc. Also check the impeller behind the filter can turn freely. A partial blockage can cause it to keep trying to drain and then end the programme.
2. Drain hose Check the drain hose isn’t kinked, crushed, or pushed too far down the standpipe under the sink. Also make sure the waste spigot or standpipe isn’t blocked.
3. Water supply Since powder was left in the drawer, make sure the cold fill tap is fully on and the inlet hose isn’t kinked. If the machine cannot fill properly it may stop or time out.
4. Door lock behaviour If it won’t reliably start and only unlocks after powering off and waiting, the door interlock could be faulty. Listen for a firm click when pressing start. A bad lock is a common cause on Beko washers.
5. Pressure system If the machine wrongly believes there is water inside, it can keep draining and refuse to proceed. This can be caused by a blocked pressure chamber/hose or a faulty pressure switch.
If the filter and hoses are clear, the most likely faults are the door lock, pressure system, or drain pump. Please isolate from the mains before inspecting internal parts, and use a qualified engineer for any mains electrical work.

Safety first — read before actioning advice
Never work on a live appliance
Always unplug it at the mains before going near it with any tools.
Never attempt gas work
By law, gas appliances must only be worked on by a Gas Safe registered engineer. If your fault involves gas, stop and call a professional — do not attempt it yourself.
Watch for sharp edges
Outer panels are smooth, but internal parts are full of sharp machined edges. Wear protective gloves and arm sleeves.
Water appliances can leak
Turn off the water supply before disconnecting any hoses.
Know your limits
If you're not confident testing or working inside the appliance, STOP and call a professional.
