Hello there Jay. I would strongly recommend against guessing at parts. I constantly hear from people who have wasted lots of money buying various parts. No part should ever be replaced unless you know it is faulty. If you happen to be an appliance engineer with a van load of parts then it's not such a problem to speculatively swap one out to see if it fixes the fault. But if you have to order and pay for one, and then will be unable to send it back then it is a big gamble. If the washing machine tripped the electrics then the first thing an engineer would need to do is to test the washing machine with an insulation test meter. This would put 500 V DC through all of the parts and wiring in the machine to detect if there is any leakage to earth. Without such a meter, and it's a specialist meter, then you are unable to assess what has caused the washing machine to trip the electrics (Washing Machine Tripping or Fusing Electrics).

It's always possible for the electrics to trip and then once reset everything appears to be all right. But if yours has been reset and now something is not working properly this implies that some part has failed or been damaged. It is possible that the PCB you show has failed. But it is also possible that another part on the washing machine such as the motor, or the heating element, or even a wire rubbing on the casing somewhere has caused electrical damage to it. In such a case a new PCB could also get damaged.
