Cant find mounting rubbers for samsung motor?
Hi, I've finished putting my new spider arm on and have it assembled, then it came to putting the motor back.
The back feet are fine (ones that all spares places have in stock and look like the small pic below).
The front ones have disintegrated,
I'm after the front rubber feet that sit through the front holes of the motor (see other pic). I've phoned espares only to be told they are not available without the whole motor, cant believe that?
Any suggestions please?

That's very annoying. Obviously without them the motor will not hold properly. The main thing that I would want to know is did the spares company mean that they don't stock them or have they doublechecked on the manufactures parts schematic's and found there is no part number for them at all? You could try contacting the manufacturer direct but a lot of these brown goods manufacturers have a poor reputation on spares information and supply.
I would doublecheck if the holes in the back motor brackets are the same diameter as the ones in the front. If they are, and the rubber inserts from the back fit into the front I would be tempted to order a couple of those instead. It might just work as long as there is metal washer over the top of them?

Thanks. it was a few mm too thick, so I fixed it to a rod into my cordless drill, put it on reverse, turned on my bench grinder, and it took it off easily and left it perfectly round
Also used rubber washerss, and it's very very secure (had to use washing up liquid to get the motor over them)
I'm just wondering whether I've wasted a load of money. new bearings (got from local bearing shop so not too much) and new spider arm all to stop it banging on spin, but as the rubber had disintegrated/turned to dust, maybe that was the problem all along
Ah well, its all back together and running perfectly at the moment, Did a quick short rinse and spin, zero knocking, now doing a full load, so far silence (it was so loud I reckon my neighbor two doors away could have heard it)
Excellent. Let's hope that does the trick. Just be wary of them cracking and breaking over time. If they give way then the forces created during high spin may slowly loosen the motor. That could cause the belt to come loose or off, and it could cause noise, which if ignored could result in serious damage to the motor bracket on the outer drum. Good luck.

Many thanks, yes they put me on hold while they looked it up etc.
The holes at the back are completely different, well the studs they go on to are much wider, hence they wouldn't be any use for the front (tried one earlier)
I got a friend round whose a mechanic, he took me to one of his suppliers and we found a couple of suspension bushes that will do the job with a bit of sanding, so hopefully this will work.
