wat28370gb/13 Diagnostic Mode
My Bosch wat28370gb/13 is giving E18 and E83 errors... I first guessed it was the drain pump which I have replaced but I am getting the same error... normally E18 at the end of a wash and/or E83 near the beginning.
I now suspect the Pressure sensor (or maybe a blocked tube?)...
Anyway... How do I enter test mode? I think I want to run a pressure sensor test... P:07?
I searched high and low around the interwebs but cannot find a wat28370gb/13 repair guide anywhere.
PS
The machine is out of warranty so probably not economically repairable unless I DIY

Don't have any information on entering a test mode. Not all washing machines necessarily have one or if they do they are not normally advertised. If you suspect a pressure system blockage just disconnect the washing machine from the mains after making sure all the water is drained away and then carefully remove the pressure tubing from the bottom of the pressure switch underneath the lid. You can then gently blow down this tube, which should be clear. If there is a blockage you should easily be able to tell and the plastic pressure tubing bottle at the bottom of this thin hose would need removing and cleaning out.
You can sometimes clear the blockage with a powerful blow down that tube but this is most often only a temporary fix.

If anyone knows how to approach the pressure chamber in this model then advice would be appreciated; specifically do you need to remove the front panel of the machine?
My washing machine is working nicely again. I removed the tube from the sensor and tried blowing... nothing much.. but by increasing the pressure I got some flow... I then flushed the tube with some water and then blew again and got a nice flow and noises in the drum.
I recalibrated the sensor using P:07 of the diagnostic menu as above and the errors were no longer present.
I then put the machine on a hot 90C wash with a small quantity of dilute bleach, then again on a quick wash...
and it works time for the time being.
If the error recurs I will look at disassembling the machine to try and access the pressure chamber itself.
Hi no I’m not familiar with that machine but it is just attached to the bottom of the outer drum at the bottom of the small tube. If you can’t see how to get to it I’d not risk messing.

OK I did my reading... that sounds like my issue.

I'll go and do my homework. Thanks!
Yes it’s all explained in the links in my last reply.

I managed to get the machine into test mode (turn off, turn dial to spin at 6'oclock position, wait a couple of seconds, press and hold RPM and FinishedIn buttons, dial to 7 o'clock). P:07 ends in E:18 after the pump overruns (the water has been pumped out) so presumably the level sensor failed to work out the water had gone.
I will try gently blowing down the sensor tube.
So is there a container at the other end of the tube that can be removed and cleaned?
Thanks for the suggestions
