Is loose door seal faulty - or as intended?
Hi community,
we are wondering if our door seal got loose or if it was always like that.
The machine is fairly new, but support seems to be overrun and they told us they could send a technician but it will take a couple of weeks. As a family of four and a newborn expected very soon as well, a couple of weeks without a washing machine sounds like stuff nightmares are made off and we don't even know, if it is just ok or of water would find its way inside the electronics chamber.
Maybe someone of you has a similar machine and can compare how it looks? That would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

Hi. Looks normal. You can always pull back that bit to see below the lip of the drum.
Need Professional Help or Spare Parts?
Ok, thank you very much! That's what I assumed. I mean, if it were connected to the metal part (sorry, I have no clue how it is called in English, in Germany we call it a drum) it would not be able to rotate and there was nothing where it makes sense to be connected to. My wife however was very sure, that it was different before.
Good news!
