LOGIK L1014WM20
Hi I have a LOGIK washing machine that keeps going into E03 (to much water) it's now driving me mad .it's constantly running water through the valve. . pumps fine . I have changed the valve and the pressure switch and pressure switch pipe is clear as I can hear it bubbling when I blow down it . Nothing else really to change ? Any ideas greatly appreciated

Hello there. I don't think I ever had to change a pressure switch, they are probably the most reliable part in the washing machine although I haven't worked on modern pressure switches, which could potentially be less reliable.
Can you actually see that too much water is going into the washing machine? Can you hear water trickling down the drain at the same time as it is filling up, or whilst it is washing, just before it starts to fill back up with water?
If you can, there is a possibility that water is siphoning out through the drain hose, causing the washing machine to constantly lose water, and therefore be unable to fill to the correct level. But there's also the chance that it is actually overfilling.
If your washing machine's drain hose is connected to the u-bend under the sink then siphoning is unlikely because the drain hose typically connects quite high up. Siphoning is caused when the end of the drain hose is lower than the level of the water inside the drum. This typically used to happen when the drain hose was pushed into a standpipe. If the standpipe fell over to one side, or the drain hose was pushed too far down into it then water would siphon out. Well , I have tried to be Green and repair it , it's not worth me going any further as the boss is harassing me so of to Currys to pick a new one ðŸ˜
Hi bob. There's nothing else that should cause it. The system is pretty simple really, water goes into the drum and some of it runs into the pressure bottle. As water rises it forces air up the thin tubing and switches on the pressure switch.
So the only things that can cause overfilling is if air can't get up the tubing due to pressure bottle blockage, air leaking out of the tubing, or pressure switch faulty.
The latter two are very rare. Blockages more common. But if you've replaced the pressure switch, cleaned pressure bottle and checked for air leaks on tubing it shouldn't overfill.
The only things theoretically left are connection faults or broken wire between pressure switch and pcb or some weird fault on pcb, both of which are rarer still.

Well , I've just taken the chamber out cleaned it checked it for leaks and still the same , apart from now I have custa all up my arms 🤣 lucky Im used to working on cars
In that case, the only things left are a blockage in the pressure chamber, or an air leak on the pressure tubing either through a small hole, or at each end where it connects to the pressure chamber and pressure switch.
Being able to blow through the tubing and hear bubbling doesn't mean it's clear. It could have soft gooey gunge blocking it, which you can force through with your lungs, but the small amount of water that runs into can't. To be sure, you need to take off the pressure chamber and check it. If it's clear, and the pressure tubing is long enough, cut off a centimetre at each end to get a new bit of the hose connecting. That's after checking there isn't a small hole in it.

The waste pipe.is high and it's not syphoning , the drum is sometimes getting over 3/4 full . You can hear the water constantly running which is why I changed the feed valve followed by the pressure switch . Just doesn't make sense
