Problem adjusting the legs on washing machine
Have moved and have problem adjusting the legs in the new location. I have the Miele tool and have tried to adjust the nuts, but they seem to be very tightly adjusted so I cannot move them. Since I cannot use a wrench I wonder what can I do? Should I try to spray on something like WD40 to help loosen them? The Miele tool has some wear now and I hope it's only the tool and not the nut. I've ordered a new tool, that will prove if it's the tool that was worn out or the nuts I guess.
Problem now is that when the machine spins it vibrates on lower revs (gets better the higher it goes). I've put in cardboard under the legs so machine is at least level but I guess that is the problem as it's to soft and therefore vibrates when spinning.
Thanks!

Hello kingpin. You should be able to use an appropriate spanner, the foot adjustment tool is just a cheap spanner. You can get a lot more leverage with a proper spanner. What you need to do is unscrew the feet, adjust them as desired, and then screw in the small nut on the feet's shaft to lock it into position.
If you're trying to unscrew the feet whilst the washing machine is in situ, you may find it almost impossible. The weight of the washing machine will just prevent you from getting anywhere. So you need to lift the washing machine off the feet.
Either tilt it over a little, or tilt it back against a wall, (which obviously if you don't do properly you could have an accident), or tilt it back temporarily, and slide some blocks of wood each side so that when you put it back the feet do not touch the floor. You should be able to adjust them then.
Once the feet have been unscrewed, it is easier to screw them back in whilst the washing machine is standing on them. But it may be necessary to just tilt the washing machine back a little, or ideally get someone else to tilt it back to take the weight off of them.

Just want to add a very late follow-up to this thread.
The instructions from @Whitegoodshelp (Andy) was (of course) bang on, feet adjusted and machine is happy! 🙂
You use the pipe pliers or maul grips to securely grab the actual feet and slowly turn them. Just use enough grip to securely grip the feet and not overly crush them.

Yes they definitely unscrew anticlockwise, so when facing one at the front you would need to turn it to the left. I've come across very stubborn adjustable feet many times before and I've always managed to loosen them using some pipe pliers, or maul grips.

Only problem is that I cannot use and thicker spanner than the MIele tool to access the nuts. As you say the Miele tool seems cheap when you need to apply a lot of power. I've tried to tilt the machine and by hand grabbing on to the legs but I haven't managed to "unlock" them. I assume that I need to unscrew legs and nuts anti-clockwise?
