4. Check the air vents/damper Make sure the vents between freezer and fridge aren’t blocked by food or ice. Some models use a damper flap to regulate cold air into the fridge; if it sticks shut, the fridge warms up.

5. Condenser cleanliness and ventilation If accessible, check ventilation around the appliance and clean any dust from the condenser area, especially on integrated units where airflow can be poor.

If there’s no fan, heavy icing, or a suspected control/damper issue, it will likely need proper diagnosis. Any mains electrical testing or sealed refrigeration work should be left to a qualified appliance engineer.
