Problem with Indesit Innex BWD 71453
Hi. We bought a new washing machine last month and shortly after the purchase we've started experiencing some problem. Namely, sometimes when "Mixed" washing cycle ends and we take the clothing out it's partially dry as if some spots weren't washed at all(see photo attached). I've contacted Indesit/Hotpoint customer service and was told that we may be overloading the drum and that can be the source of the issue. The thing is that the capacity of the drum is 7kg and they say that the limit is for wet clothing and when we put, lets say, 5kg (dry clothing) it's too much because it will exceed 7kg when gets wet. I've spoken to two different advisors and they claim the same. It's some rubbish for me. Any advice?

Hello Matt. The only way that could happen is if the drum isn’t revolving on wash and rinse so laundry is just sitting there and not getting soaked, or the laundry is packed so tight water can’t get through to the laundry in the centre. Alternatively maybe if there was some strange fault causing the level of water to be way too low

Can you see when it is on a wash cycle that the drum is turning, stopping then turning the other way? Have you tried it with less laundry in and does it still do it with a lighter load?
If it is a 7kg drum you shouldn’t be able to overload it without making an effort. The average wash load is less than 5Kg. To overload it the laundry would have to be turning around in one big mass with no space for it to fall into when the drum revolves.

Hi Andy. We never put so much load that you need to push with your knee It must be some kind of fault but they don't want to send the engineer claiming that it's overloading.
