Washer Dryer White (Yet Gritty Feeling) Powder In The Vents

Hi

I have a 2 month old Bosch washer-dryer.

All seems fine, however, there's a fine white (yet gritty feeling) powder in the vents (dryer air flow?) at the top of the door seal. This is now falling down onto the top of the door and getting on washing. It's not washing powder as I dont use it and the loction doesn't seem to tie with it being something in the water. Also, i've used the liquid in my old washer-dryer no problem.

Any ideas what it could be...? I'm on the brink of booking an engineer visit but not sure if its that serious.

Thanks

Neil

The vent leads to the dryer heating element and housing. There shouldn't be anything in there to account for it. I'd try giving it a good fettle out with a brush or something but if it continues it's something I'd complain about.
