Beko Eco Wmb 81445 Lw - Stops In Cycle Due To Water Fill

The m/c starts the washing cycle and tries to fill with water. Then it stops and the symbol of a tap with a line striking through appears. When you press the start button again the cycle carries on. It does this randomly, so you never know when it will happen and it may also do the same on the rinse cycle. Sometimes it doesn't do it at all and carries on through, but its becoming more often now that it stops. I've checked the hose and filter and plenty of pressure on the system.

Anyone with an idea to the problem?

cheers.

It sounds like the washing machine is saying it can't take enough water in. An icon of a tap with a line through it is most likely indicating there is no water available. However, if you can get the wash cycle to complete ok by just turning the machine off and on again that would strongly imply that there is water available and the error indicated is wrong.

This article advises on finding out why a washing machine won’t fill with water but it may or may not help. There could be a connection problem or dodgy water valve or even air in the water pipes. When you disconnect the fill hose and run water into a bucket is the water flow smooth with no spurting?
