Miele W929 leaking - drain hose
Hello and thanks for adding me to this forum.
This is my first post.
I have an elderly but beloved Miele W929WPS machine. I've serviced it a few times over the years but its been attacked by rats from the rear... they have chewed through the drain hose and the kitchen floor now is sopping wet. Of course changing the part (drain hose) is not too tricky but the question I have is this, must I buy the original spare from Miele? I have a young family and don't want to wait for a delivery from Miele UK. I need my machine up a running ASAP. Could I get a generic part OR does my machine require the original? I always fit only the original OE parts, never third party so it feels strange for me to even be asking.
With thanks,

There are very few if any non genuine Miele spare parts. The non genuine washing machine drain hoses will fit most washing machines but quite possibly not Miele. It's not worth the risk of getting one that doesn't fit. It would work out a lot more time consuming than just ordering the Miele one.
