Aeg Lavamat Protex Plus (91453122601) Bottom Piece
The piece at the bottom of my washing machine appears to have become slightly disloged by someone moving it around in the room.
It doesnt feel like it just pops out.. how do I get it back in? Do I need to remove the bolts by the filter? I'm afriad I might break/snap it if I try to just push it back in or out.. doesnt feel like it wants to come either way without force.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help...
p.s. I read through the PDF manual on AEG's website but it doesnt seem to mention this part. On my old washing machine (a Hotpoint) there was a similar piece that just clicked into place very easily but this seems to be a bit more complicated.

It's just a cosmetic kick strip. They commonly just clip into place. I would lift and pull the machine forward and try tipping it back enough to get under and have a good look. You may need someone to hold it but I find pulling one out far enough to tip it back to rest on the worktop is fine although I'd have to recommend having someone to make sure it doesn't fall onto you. Once the weight is taken off and you can see underneath you should be able to work out how to push it back in place.

Thanks, did as you said, tipped it forward... balanced it very precariously on two little tubs of baking soda lol (all I had to hand), then I could see under to see how it popped back in. Using the handle end of a plastic washing up brush I was able to pry the piece back into place (some plastic nodules to hold it into place were preventing it from going back into place as the piece had been pulled too far out of situ). Hey presto! Good as new. Thanks again.
