4Th Drain Pump

Hi,

I have a Bosch Classixx washing machine and need to replace the drain pump approx once a year. It's always the same problem: The impeller comes of the drain pump. I tried pushing it back on but usually only lasts a couple of washes. Is this normal? Is there a proper way to get the impeller back on the pump? Nothing seems broken. The drain pump is not blocked when this happens. No debris.

Suggestions are very welcome.

Thanks,

Peter

No most washing machines never even need a pump replacing. It looks like a weird way the impeller is fixed on (unless something is broken). It appears as though the impeller should click into place onto the plastic bit secured to the rotor's shaft but in order to do that the rotor needs holding in place somehow. If you just put it on and turn to the left or right the impeller would just turn and it wouldn't click in place.
