Hi, I wondered if anybody can help me identify a replacement drain pump for this machine as Beko don't stock the genuine part anymore.

I can't find a universal part that seems to match this one

Hi. The picture won’t help much as most pumps look very similar. Try www.ransomspares.co.uk

Nice one. That's exactly the kind of thing that my article that I linked to previously describes (Can't find a blockage but washing machine still not draining water). If the pump is running okay and there's nothing wrong the impeller then the only explanation is a blockage somewhere.

Well problem solved after all that it was a 5p obstructing the drain pump hose, as I couldn't get the front cover off to remove all of the pump assembly I only swapped the drain pump motor bit, our repair guy had to partially remove the front face of the washer to remove the pump assembly (most washers I have seen just have screws and your off, this one has a faceplate that can only be removed when the front panel of the washer is partially removed) and as he predicted it was a perfectly sized 5p blocking the pipe..ah well you live and learn

Useful article, I'm convinced it's something obstructing the ball in the sump hose..just can't get the bugger off ..

Local repair guy coming out Sat morning, hopefully he can diagnose or its a new washer

After I replaced the double cold inlet a few weeks ago because it wasn't filling up properly I thought I was home and dry..at least for a few weeks until this!

Thanks for your help

That's one eliminated. The article describes all possible places.

Not connected to main drain just draining into a bucket

Could be, but it could be an obstruction in other places too including right at the u-bend if drain hose is attached to it. Read this Can’t Find a Blockage But Washing Machine Still Not Draining

Pump fitted a charm, great advice thanks..didn't solve the problem though it's draining but at a trickle..I can see the impeller running so the pump must be fine

Can only think now there must be a blockage in the sump pipe from the drum to the drain pump, I'm going to take this off next and have a look but I don't have the tools for it as these are threaded screw hose clips and the screw head is pointing toward the drum casing and will require some offset screwdriver which I don't currently possess.. what happened to good old fashioned jubilee clips!

Ahh that would be tricky then. I was meaning if they were side by side the other way. As long as the wires are long enough you can cut them and fit 13 amp tags. Just make sure they can’t touch and short out. If close you can insulate one of them with insulation tape.

Hi, this is the connection

Yes you can do that If you are comfortable doing it. Or if the old one has a plastic plug that would be able to be cut in half to make separate connectors that’s another way of doing it.

Thanks I checked them out and based on there model selector this one is compatible

https://www.ransomspares.co.uk/parts/washing-machines/drain-pump-askol/121784.htm

But the terminal connections are separate, could I break the plug on my machine and connect them to the terminals directly?
