Hi!

We've just moved into a new build flat which has an Indesit IWDC6125(UK) washer dryer.

We were trying to run a cycle first before we used it but it doesn't seem to be working.

The Start/Pause button goes orange and the lock light flashes red and it beeps.

Also, the door seal has the hole pictured at about 2pm on it. Not sure if this is normal or not.

We've turned the machine off at the mains for 5 mins and restarted it but no joy.

Any ideas, are we being incredibly stupid or should I contact Indesit?

Cheers!

Dave

The picture shows the vent hole for a washer dryer. That's where the hot air is pumped into the drum on a drying cycle. It's normally at the 12 O clock position though. If the washer dryer was in the flat you would expect it was working OK so check that the water is turned on to it properly. If it isn't taking any water in it won't work. However, if the problem is related to water it shouldn't be affected on a spin dry cycle so check to see if anything happens on spin only cycle. Other than that check the instruction manual to make sure you are using it correctly. If you don;t have it you can hopefully download one here Washing machine instruction books and user manuals
