Hi,

I purchased new belts for my washer (Maytag A612) to replace the transmission belt who was slipping. The transmission belt is now OK but the pump belt is now slipping. I tried to slide the pump to the maximum adjustment but it still slip. Do you know what's the problem. I can reinstall the old one but I would prefer to use the new one.

Thanks.

Sorry Dan, I don't repair those types of washing machine, only the front loaders. The only thing I can suggest is to make sure the pump isn't too stiff due to a fault or a blockage.
