Worn bearings bosch
I think i have worn bearings on my Bosch WAQ283S1GB as it is making alot of noise when spinning and there is alot of play in the backwards/ forwards moment of the drum. Does anyone know if the bearings are accessible in this model or will the full drum have to be replaced. Thanks

Hello Ann. Here's a listing of the spare parts available for a Bosch WAQ283S1GB washing machine but unfortunately it looks like the drum bearings are not available. The only parts available are complete outer and inner drum costing more than the price of a brand-new washing machine. These prices are unbelievably outrageous. And clearly designed to discourage anyone from ever buying one. The same washing machine has some other basic spare parts that are outrageously priced too. I will take time to look into the price of these parts and if they are correct, and the same across their range I will definitely be discouraging anyone from buying Bosch washing machines in future. Sadly though, they are not alone in their tactics. If you want cheap washing machines, you have to have unrepairable ones.
