hi ive got a zanussi lindo 300 which wont take softner, ive changed the top part of dispenser draw,i ve run the diagnostic program and both water valves open and let water through. From what i can see both valves need to open at same time to divert into softner compartment.which leads me to think the fault lies on the logic board,is it possible to reprogram logic board or does it need replacing.much apreciate any help with this or do i just continue to add softner to the drum before the cycle starts,as a work around.

Most washing machines have a separate water valve to flush the water softer down which operates interdependently. However, the valve will usually be energised at the same time as the main cold valve because it's always taken down during the last rinse. If there is a water valve with a hose leading directly to the water softener compartment then if the valve is operating and water is running through it then the softener should be flushed away.
