Waste pipe smell

Hello. I have a 4 year old Bosch washing machine which emits an unpleasant smell from the waste pipe. I assume it is a build up of soap in the pipe from years of use. In addition, there is a greyish slime on the outside of the pipe from where it sits in the drainage system under a sink unit. Is there anything that can be used to clean inside the pipe via the washing machine? The pipe is so long that it is not possible to clean inside the pipe with an implement.

Thanks.
