5. Inspect the drawer and auto-dose channels If behaviour seems inconsistent even on standard cycles, clean the drawer housing and check for dried detergent or blockage in the liquid dosing section.

Before inspecting anything internal, isolate the appliance from the mains. If standard cycles also stop using auto-dose, or settings make no difference, it may need a Samsung engineer to confirm whether it’s a configuration issue or dispenser fault.
