Sudden leak under machine. With machine unplugged, a small bowl of water added to the drum comes straight back out. Photo of where I think it's coming from is attached. Can anyone help with the fix / part needed?

Cheers

Steve

Hi. Looks like it might be scrap. The inner drum has cut through the plastic outer drum. That usually happens if the drum becomes loose through worn bearings or a broken drum.

It will probably need an entire new inner drum and outer drum.

Makes sense and I could speculate what might have caused it. Thanks SO much for the lightning fast help. I really appreciate it.

Hi Steve. If it happened suddenly it could be caused by an obstruction getting inside between the inner and outer drum.

Or maybe there was a crack in the drum spider that caused the revolving drum to catch on the outer drum slightly, but as the crack got worse it could have increased pressure until it finally cut through.

Thanks Andy - kinda thought that might be the answer but hoped otherwise. The cause is interesting though - had been working well and smoothly 🙄
