Indesit WIE 137 UK showing F03 after sensor and wiring checks
- The problem
- An Indesit WIE 137 UK washing machine repeatedly showed fault code F03. The owner had already stripped the machine down, replaced the temperature sensor/thermal limiter, checked continuity of the wiring from the sensor to the PCB, removed the PCB and cleaned the contacts and board, but the fault remained.
- Likely cause
- The discussion most strongly supports an NTC/thermostat circuit fault associated with F03. As the sensor had already been changed and wiring/connections checked, the remaining suspected cause was the PCB, although contributors stated there was no guarantee a replacement PCB would cure it.
- What fixed it
- The only further action suggested was to recheck NTC and PCB connections for broken wires internally and then consider replacing the PCB. The exact repair was not confirmed because the owner did not proceed and instead bought a new washing machine.
- Checks to try
- Replaced the temperature sensor/thermal limiter
- Checked continuity on the wires from the sensor to the PCB
- Removed the PCB
- Cleaned PCB contacts
- Cleaned the PCB board
- Checked items referenced in the F03 guidance link
- Parts or tools mentioned
- Temperature sensor/thermal limiter
- PCB
Safety: Further diagnosis should be carried out by a suitably qualified appliance engineer.

sorry a new pcb that i need???? please give me a clue!!!!
i have checked all that it says on the link, any other ideas????
Sorry lammy250, if you've changed the NTC (thermostat) then apart from checking connections on the NTC and PCB for broken wires inside you'd need to think about replacing the pcb next but there's no guarantee it would fix it.

Gone and bought a new machine now, fed up with indesit, I've had the pcb's checked before, had it all in bits checking everything, I've even changed the drum bearings which was a task, them the concrete bolts sheared so had to repair all the bolts...... Had enough..... Thanks for the replies though it was much appreciated
No problem, which make have you gone for this time?
