Hi there i have read the online troubleshooting and wanted to check. Tell you what i have done so far, changed out the bearings refitted everything but the belt keeps coming off took the top off again today and did a little video did notice this before but the movement on the pulley would this be enough to thro the belt off. It nearly goes a whole cycle then 1 or 2 mins from the end the belt comes off.

Thanks in advance for any help without forums like these and other types i use i would be in a dark pit alone so many thanks

The movement doesn't look excessive. They rarely if ever run perfectly true. Have you checked the motor isn't lose and that the belt isn't excessively worn or loose? The thing that causes the belt to come off is if it runs out of line, if somehow the motor pulley and the drum pulley are misaligned or become misaligned because of movement in one of the parts being lose somehow.

If the drum pulley isn't loose, the bearings are ok, the motor is fastened on properly with no cracks anywhere on the motor frame then the belt shouldn't come off. Might be worth trying a new belt. Also clean the drum pulley in case there's some traces of grease on it.

Make sure the motor doesn't have a crack in it somewhere near one of the arms where it's bolted to the tub. I've known motors with hairline cracks there to move enough under load to cause the belt to run off.

Does the belt stay on without any laundry in or does it come off regardless? If it only comes off with a load in it would imply something is moving under the strain.

Hi there thanks for the fast response it is the only thing i can think of as it kicks to the side, it does nearly stay on a whole cycle, the motor is tight although the back fitting is only a pin type of fitting in a hole and secured with the two bolts on the front. The way it kicks to the side i as thinking that it may throw it off. Like i said i redone the bearings and worked fine for over 5-8 washes then all of a sudden bang bang then nothing looked in the back and belt was off is it worth getting a new a pulley and belt. i could show you the belt if that would be any good but it does look in good shape
