Pump Filter Jammed
My washing machine doesn't drain after cycle so I went to look at the filter. Behind the trim on lower part of face of machine, I found what I presume is access to the filter. But, but it only turns through 120 degrees (with loss of some water) but I could not remove it. I have lost the user manual (to my shame) and can't find it online.
Does this washerl have a filter which can be accessed by and cleaned by an owner? If so how do I open the filter? Many thanks for any help offered.

Maybe something is jammed inside the filter (like a bra wire) which is making it awkward to get out. However, the filter will come out. I can appreciate you being concerned about breaking it, but even if you did, you'd just need to buy a new filter which will be considerably cheaper than calling a repairman out. If there is something blocking the pump filter the filter has got to be removed to fix it.
Also, try to see if there are any lugs that the filter locks under. Some Hoover washing machines have a small screw in the pump filter which needs partially - not fully - unscrewing before the filter comes out.
If there is an obstruction preventing the pump filter from unscrewing, you will have to disconnect the sump hose or drain hose from the pump to retrieve the object. as described here in my article about pumps and the filter

Got filter out and broke it in doing so. Seemed to be a 5P piece making it stick. I now need a new one. Can I source it through you or can you suggest other online supplier?
Thanks for your ongoing help.
