Beko Wmb81445Lw Clothes Still Wet After Spin

This machine is about 12 months old and i feel has never been that good at getting water out of clothes even on a 1400 spin.

Even after a wash cycle you have to give it a second spin when its finished.

We have checked the filter and that isn't blocked.

What we did do today when they came out sopping wet even after a couple of spins was turn the power off as if to do a reset and that seemed to help. Any help or advice on this is appreciated.

1400 spin should be perfectly good at spin drying laundry although some washers may well be better than others even with the same spin speed. The only things that are likely to reduce spin drying performance are if there was some partial blockage somewhere reducing the flow of water out from the pump just enough to cause problems such as in the plastic spigot between the drain hose and the u-bend. Hotpoint washing machines used to do that because they had a hidden filter inside the sump hose leading to the pump which became bunged up with lint.

Another possible issue could be if the washer isn't balancing the loads properly, which can stop it reaching full speed or cause it to reduce the time it spins. However it shouldn't cause problems every time unless you somehow put bad loads in all the time. Just check this article in case - Loading a washing machine

These two articles may help in checking for blockages, partial blockages or intermittent ones can be tricky to find. The second article covers possible obstructions not easy to find such as in the u-bend spigot -

I can't say with any certainty that your problems are caused by such a blockage, only that it's one possibility.
