Door Seal Drainage Holes
We had a small tear in the door seal of our Bosch Logixx causing a small leak. I've managed to changed the seal (with a fair bit of difficulty) but in doing so I've caused a big leak!
It seems that the new leak is caused by water running out of the 3 little drainage holes at the bottom of the seal (I've tested it by pouring water directly down them and I heared it trickling though onto the floor). However I can't find any diagrams of internal pics with where this water SHOULD be going - I assume they're just not aligning with a drainage pipe or something similar? I'd rather have some idea of what I'm trying to achieve before I start taking things apart again. Or is there any reason that I can't just plug them up with something and then manually empty and water that's collected in the seal after each wash?!
Thanks in advance!

The 3 drainage holes in the bottom of a door seal only let water drain away into the drum and tub which should be watertight. They are only there to help prevent pools of water gathering in the bottom of the seal. They can't cause a leak. The leak must be coming from where the door seal attaches to the outer tub. If you used lubricant to get the door seal onto the tub then part of it might have slipped off or it may just have never been fitted correctly.

Thanks very much. I must admit that I initially dismissed your response because the seal felt snug and I could clearly feel that the drainage holes were just leading nowhere. However you were completely correct - the metal ring that holds the gasket on on the inside of the machine had slipped off. Now rectified, many thanks for your help!
