Indesit Iwme 147
We have had this machine for about a year with no problems. However on the last wash all the clothing came out covered in small white specks like paper. Before putting the wash on all pockets had been checked for tissues and we are satisfied that is not the source of the problem. The clothes were rinsed again in an effort to remove the white specks without success. Before we call out an engineer is there any possible explanation for this happening or could it be a problem with the machine? Thanks in advance for any replies received.
Ps we do not use washing powder, only Morrisons liquid tablets.

I would run it through on a boil wash at least onece, with no laundry in and some detergent to see if it clears. There's nothing in the machine that normal causes white specs but check this article out just in case White streaks on laundry after washing

It certainly sounds like something foreign had got into the machine. Can you not wash an old towel or something just to test it again? Check the filter to see if anything is caught in it.
