Bosch f43 error will not clear
Hi,
I have a Bosch washing machine logixx8 sensitive ( WAS28760GB/14) it shows error code F43. The Brushes were worn right down so I've replaced them.
I've tried the reset sequence shown online, but no joy It still bleeps F43
However my machine doesn't have the dedicated spin button they use in the online instructions, it has two spin speed adjustment buttons instead.
If anybody is familiar with my version of of the logixx8 and can help I woul be most grateful.

You shouldn't normally have to reset anything on most washing machines. An error code should automatically clear once the fault has been fixed. If you have an error code, and then carry out a repair, but the error code is the same then there is a chance that the repair has not fixed the error at all and it was something else. Or something is going wrong with the repair such as a poor connection is been introduced for the brushes just not fitted properly.
When you see the brushes were worn down what condition were there in at the point where they contact on the armature? If the brushes were badly worn then then clearly they do need replacing, but if both surfaces of the brush where it touches the commutator were shiny then they were still making contact and were possibly a red herring. If either of the brushes were causing the fault then one or both of them should have been black, charred and sooty.
If that was the case then if the error code is still showing I would doublecheck that the brushes have being fitted properly and are making good contact on the commutator (some brushes are delivered with the brush trapped in place and need releasing once fitted into the motor). Also check the motor connections in the motor plug. Make sure none of the connectors inside either of the motor plugs have been pushed back so that the male and female parts are not connecting.
