Beko WME7267W leaking soapy water back through the soap drawer????
I have a 8.5 year old Beko that has started leaking soapy water back up through the soap drawer when spinning. I have changed the pump and the level sensor but it still happens. It also occasionally jumps back to an earlier point in a cycle. Any advice?
Thanks

Beko WME7267W leaking soapy water from dispenser, likely restricted drain
- The problem
- An 8.5-year-old Beko WME7267W was reported to leak soapy water back through the soap drawer during spin. The machine had already had the pump and level sensor changed, but the fault remained. It also occasionally appeared to jump back to an earlier point in the programme. The original poster later added that it mainly happened on the first load after the machine had been unused for a few days, and then seemed to work normally.
- Likely cause
- The accepted diagnosis was a partial blockage in the drain path, causing water not to pump away properly. A forum reply specifically suggested checking the pump filter, drain hose end, and any sink/U-bend spigot connection for obstruction. The exact blocked point was not confirmed.
- What fixed it
- Recommended action was to inspect the drainage system for a partial blockage, particularly the pump filter and the drain hose connection/spigot. Although the thread was marked solved, no completed repair or confirmed root cause was posted by the original poster.
- Checks to try
- Pump filter
- Drain hose end
- Plastic spigot/U-bend connection for obstruction

It sounds like there is a partial blockage somewhere so the water isn’t being pumped out properly. Try this article to see if you can find it

Thank you I will have a look. It only seems to do it on the first load after the machine has been sitting unused for a few days.....there after it seems to work okay.
That seems strange. I would definitely check the pump filter, and if it pumps the water into a spigot on the U bend I would disconnect it and carefully check inside the plastic spigot it connects to and the end of the drain hose to make sure there is nothing causing an obstruction.
