Beko Wmc62W Leaks From The Door Only During The Wash?
Hi
As the title suggests, I was given a Beko WMC62W washing machine on Sunday (second hand), I have used it to complete the last few loads that needed doing over the past few days, yesterday I used the machine and all was fine, no leaks etcetera, today I have run 2 washes and have noticed the seal lip has discoloured but also that water seems to pool behind where the door bowl meets the seal and then it dribbles out from under the door, it only does this during the wash cycle too, which I thought was very odd!
My parents have offered to buy me a new washer anyway if this cant be sorted but I'd like to know why its leaking and only during the wash so I can get a few months from it so I can buy a new washer dryer (I honestly loved my last one and would love another, this Beko machine is a stop gap) myself....

This thread was marked as solved. Here's a summary of the problem and the fix, generated from the discussion below.
Beko WMC62W leaking from door during wash
- The problem
- A second-hand Beko WMC62W was reported to leak from beneath the door, but only during the wash cycle. Water appeared to pool behind the area where the door glass meets the door seal, and the seal lip had become discoloured.
- Likely cause
- The strongest diagnosis in the discussion was a worn door seal. A build-up of dried detergent residue or grit on the seal flange or door glass was also suggested as a possible cause of the poor seal.
- What fixed it
- Clean the full contact area around the door seal flange and the door glass where the seal meets it. If cleaning does not stop the leak, replace the door seal. The exact repair carried out was not confirmed in the thread.
- Checks to try
- Observed leak only during wash cycle
- Noted water pooling where the door glass meets the seal
- Checked condition of the seal lip and found discolouration
- Advised to clean around the door seal flange and door glass contact area
- Parts or tools mentioned
- Door seal

The door rubber could be worn, which should be fixed by replacing it. Try cleaning all the way around the door seal flange where it touches the door glass and clean all the door glass where it touches the door seal. Small bits of dried powder or grit can prevent the door seal from sealing properly. If it doesn't work the door seal is likely to need replacing.
