Indesit Door Lock light flashing
I have replaced what looked like a burnt out DOOR LOCK INTERLOCK SWITCH 1604781 and also the loom of wires to be sure as they were burnt out too.
Still get the door lock light flashing like nothing has changed. Do I need to reset the whole thing and if so, how do I do this?
Current issue is that it appears to not be recognising that the door is locked/door lock light flashes and beeps and won't start the cycle
Any help would be very much appreciated
Thanks

This thread was marked as solved. Here's a summary of the problem and the fix, generated from the discussion below.
Indesit washing machine door lock light flashing after interlock and loom replacement
- The problem
- The washing machine would not start a cycle. The door lock light flashed and the machine beeped, suggesting it was not recognising the door as locked. The door lock interlock switch 1604781 and the associated wiring loom had already been replaced because both appeared burnt out, but the fault remained unchanged.
- Likely cause
- The accepted reply states there is no reset procedure. Because the wires had burnt out, it was considered possible that two wires shorted together and damaged another component, most likely the PCB.
- What fixed it
- No reset was advised. The strongest diagnosis was likely secondary damage to the PCB following the wiring burn-out/short. Exact repair was not confirmed; further diagnosis should be carried out by a suitably qualified appliance engineer.
- Checks to try
- Door lock interlock switch 1604781 replaced
- Wiring loom replaced
- Observed door lock light flashing and machine beeping
- Confirmed machine would not start the cycle
- Parts or tools mentioned
- Door lock interlock switch 1604781
- Wiring loom
- PCB
Safety: Further diagnosis should be carried out by a suitably qualified appliance engineer.

There's no reset. If the wires burned out it's possible two of them shorted out. That could have damaged something else like the pcb.
