My Bosch Logixx 8 Sensitive wont "fast spin"
Hi,
I have a Bosch Logixx 8 washing machine that washes as normal, but when it is centrifuged it stops and the rinse lamp flashes.
If I try without clothes it spins as normal.
I have cleaned what can be cleaned.
Taken a reset.
Can it be the brushes?
Best regards
Frank H.
Solution Summary
AI-generated from this discussion
This thread was marked as solved. Here's a summary of the problem and the fix, generated from the discussion below.
Bosch WAS28362SN spins empty but not with laundry; rinse lamp flashes
- The problem
- Bosch Logixx 8 Sensitive washing machine, model WAS28362SN, washes normally but stops during spin/centrifuge with the rinse lamp flashing when there is a load in the drum. It will spin normally when empty. The user had already cleaned accessible areas, reset the machine and confirmed it was level.
- Likely cause
- The strongest supported diagnosis is a load-balance/out-of-balance sensing issue. This is supported by the machine spinning empty but not under load, and by the user finding one of three wires to the balance sensor/vacuum side broken. Other possibilities mentioned in the discussion were a slack drive belt or PCB fault, but these were not confirmed.
- What fixed it
- No confirmed completed repair was documented. The practical action supported by the thread is to inspect the load balance system wiring and ensure the drum is loaded properly. The exact repair was not confirmed.
- Checks to try
- Machine reset carried out
- Accessible parts cleaned
- Machine confirmed level
- Observed that machine spins normally when empty
- Found one of three cables to the balance sensor/vacuum side broken
Safety: Do not bypass or remove the balance sensor. Further diagnosis should be carried out by a suitably qualified appliance engineer.

Normally if a washing machine spins ok without washing in but not with washing in the problem may be related to out of balanced loads Not spinning some loads
Other possibilities are carbon brushes (which is t applicable for you), a slack drive belt or a fault on the PCB.

The model nr. is WAS28362SN
I figure out that this has no brushes.
And the machine are level.

Thanks for your reply Andy
I did find out that one of tree cables for the balance sensor on the vakkum side was broken.
I tryed to fix it, but the contact is not easy to spare. Do you know if i can disconnect/remove the sensor?

Sorry for late reply. My notifications have been hit and miss. I've never tried to remove one. Make sure the drum is being loaded properly before suspecting the sensor.
