HOW TO MAKE BOSCH BOSCH WAX32GH1GB PERFORM JUST A SPIN CYCLE

Hi. Thanks for any help. I cannot see how to make my new BOSCH WAX32GH1GB perform just a spin cycle inisolation (sometimes a load is slightly wetter than I would like it after washing). There is no specific rinse/spin setting shown on the dials and the instructions manual is rather baffling. Kay

This thread was marked as solved. Here's a summary of the problem and the fix, generated from the discussion below.

Bosch WAX32GH1GB appears not to have a spin-only cycle

The problem
The owner could not find a way to run a spin-only cycle on a Bosch WAX32GH1GB and found the manual unclear.
Likely cause
The accepted reply said this model may simply not offer a dedicated spin-only or rinse-and-spin programme. No fault with the appliance was described.
What fixed it
Check the programme list in the manual, as all available cycles should be listed there. The accepted advice was that there is likely no separate spin-only cycle on this machine. A hand-wash cycle was suggested as something to try, but it was not confirmed as a true spin-only option or as a fix.
Checks to try
  • Owner checked the controls and could not see a specific rinse/spin setting
  • Accepted reply advised that every cycle should be described in the manual

Hi. Chances are there isn’t one. Some washing machines don’t have a spin only cycle although you’d think there’d be a rinse and spin option.

The reason is likely to be because putting items in just to spin often results in badly out of balanced loads. Especially as people only put odd items in or just a couple of items. Such small loads are difficult or impossible to balance.

Every cycle will be described in the manual. If there is a hand wash cycle try that though it may only have a slow spin.
