This thread was marked as solved. Here's a summary of the problem and the fix, generated from the discussion below.
Candy Bianca leaking door seal with retaining wire off
- The problem
- A Candy Bianca washing machine was reported leaking from the door seal because the spring-loaded retaining wire on the inner side of the seal had come off.
- Likely cause
- The accepted reply says the wire holding the door seal onto the drum should not normally come off and suggests there may be an underlying cause, such as excessive drum movement or violent banging. Another user reported the same wire coming off repeatedly and said it was not tight from the beginning, but this was not verified for the original machine.
- What fixed it
- The discussion supports refitting or replacing the door seal retaining wire as the immediate remedy. However, because the accepted reply warns that the wire should not normally detach, the machine should also be checked for any underlying cause of drum movement or instability. Further diagnosis should be carried out by a suitably qualified appliance engineer.
- Checks to try
- Confirm the spring-loaded wire holding the door seal onto the drum has come off
- Check whether the drum has been banging about violently or moving excessively
- Parts or tools mentioned
- Spring-loaded door seal retaining wire
- Door seal
Safety: Further diagnosis should be carried out by a suitably qualified appliance engineer.

Hello. The wire holding the door seal onto the drum? That should never come off. I'd be concerned that there is a cause of it coming off such as the drum banging about violently?

I also have a Candy Bianca "not-so-Smart" Washing Machine.
Here's the best tip: NEVER buy this piece of garbage!
The spring loaded wire also popped of with mine. Multiple times. It wasn't even tight from the beginning. Just look up a clip on how to change the rubber seal, fixed in couple of minutes.
This machine is nothing but TROUBLE. Too many issues to sum them up or go in detail. (Randomly non-responsive, wifi not working, door locked for days, ON/OFF doesn't help, pulling the plug for some time (maybe hours) is the only solution, spring loaded wire popping off... ETC.)
I'm surprised this machine found it's way to the market! Absolutely unbelievable.
I hope i saved someone a lot of frustration by NOT buying this machine.
Cheers.
Man can you please provide a link to the clip? I'm about to give up and buy another washing machine due to this. I wanted to clean the seal and this thing popped out.
