Washing won't drain with a load, drains without a load.

I have a Bosch washing machine that has stopped draining. I checked the hose and there is no blockage in fact it drains fine when there is nothing in the machine but when there is a load in the machine it will not drain. I've spent my day trying to figure it out!

My first suspect would be that somehow the sump hose (tub to pump hose) is getting compressed/squashed when the tub drops due to a load in the drum.

No worries. Just be careful to unplug machine before fiddling about

I'll do that.....in the morning and report back.

Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it.

It’s possible the suspension is twisted or something. Try taking the back panel off and observing if the sump hose twists or gets squashed when the drum is full of water and laundry. Alternatively I’m struggling to see how laundry in the machine could affect the pumping of water from the pump.

Thanks for the reply, so would that mean my drum is loose?
