Beko Washer Dryer not heating

I have a Beko WDIR7543101 Washer Dryer and have noticed over the last couple of weeks that the drying is less efficient (having to put it on for longer or additional cycles to get dry). Yesterday it stopped heating during the drying cycle altogether (washing stone cold). Today i did a wash cycle and the clothes felt colder than normal afterwards which makes me suspect there might be an issue with the water heating too. Having read some of the other posts and the advice guides on here (thanks, they're very helpful!) i understand that the water heating element is different to the drying element so i'm skeptical that these have both failed - it is more likely to be thermostat issues?

I plan to pull it out tomorrow and get the multimeter on it but would appreciate some guidance on what to test first.

Cheers,

Andy

Hi. Yes it would be a remarkable coincidence if both hearing elements failed. Also, each element has its own thermal cutouts and stats so it would be even more remarkable if separate stats or toc’s failed.

it’s a question of testing the continuity of all these parts looking for open circuit parts and checking connections although be aware that although a TOC is either closed circuit or open circuit (if tripped) some are thermistors and have different resistances at different temperatures and are less easily tested.
