Beko Washer/Dryer Condenser No Water

Good afternoon,

Started a new thread as the topic is slightly different. Hope this is ok

Dryer on washing machine is tripping. I've opened it up after after some investigation have found no water is running to condenser.

I don't have my multi meter so swapped the plugs on the 3 way solenoid valve over so that the plug for the water inlet to washing machine was on the condenser side and ran it on a wash cycle which proved the valve is ok.

Is there any condition that would stop voltage going to the condenser solenoid valve? Sensors ect?

No errors are present on the machine and elements obviously heat up. Fan works correctly. Pump also runs.

Many thanks in advance!

Hello there. No water running to the condenser shouldn't cause I Washerdryer to trip the electrics. It should just cause it to fail to condense the steam back into water and therefore the laundry would come out still warm but wet. Tripping the electrics is caused by an electrical fault but you can't detect it with the multimeter, you need a special installation test metre which cost hundreds of pounds. More information about the limitations of diagnosing this fault here - washing machine fusing the electrics

Hi Andy,

Thanks for your advice. I've got accesss to a megger if it comes to that.

I should clarify electrics aren't tripping. It's only the HT stat on top of the dryer heater that's going. Would this be unusual for just having no condensate water? Clothes are warm and wet. Everything else works on the machine. I ran it for 15 mins yesterday on dryer with the condenser water hose into a bucket and no water came out but I've proved the solenoid works

I was thinking it was probably a fault with the main PCB.

So only faults are:

no water to condenser on dyrer but 3 way valve works and dryer high temperature stat will go after running for an hour or so)

Sorry for not being being more clear and cheers again
