My Beko washing machine stopped working after making a banging and rattling noise. I removed the back cover to investigate and found that the belt had partially come off the pulley. Upon further inspection, I noticed that the drum has excessive up-and-down movement and I touches bottom of the machine cover and by manually moving the drum it make rattling sound . When I move the drum, the bearing shifts significantly, which makes me suspect that the drum bearing is damaged and needs to be replaced.
