Samsung WF1124XBC washing machine error 3E
Hello, recently I had the 3E error on my 12kg Samsung washing machine that didn't permit to complete any of the washing programs.
I replaced the main pcb and it is working again. I think the problem is that the main chip under the big black heat sink heats too much and burns. I am from Portugal and the summer is reasonably hot and it may contribute to this problem.
The board basically lasted about less than 3 years. But I want it to last much more than that because the board is expensive (about 130eur).
So I installed an 110-220VAC fan. I cutted some of the plate and created a housing for the fan. Also drilled some holes on the other side of the pcb plastic box and isolated the rest of the holes to force the air to flow inside the box.
Connected the wires as shown to that black wire (black plug 220v) and the neutral to the plate (Earth. I know that I should have connected that to the neutral wire soon I will do that correctly).
It is working automatically. As soon as I press the "Play" button, the fan starts. As soon as the program finishes and the door unlocks, the fan stops. It is not perfectly done, I know, much of that black silicon (that car gasket silicon) and 3M grey tape. But it works for now...

Yes I have glued one fine metallic net in front of the fan.
I would like to show some more pictures but I have reached the maximum amount of pictures...
Hope the variable speed controller cools enough to last several years...
Nice idea!
Maybe pop a PC fan cover/filter over the outside of the fan to stop dust and whatever being drawn into the same area you're trying to protect.
I would like to submit more photos but as I see, I have limited space to submit media... 🙁
