Integrated washer dryer

I currently have an integrated washing Machine which I wanted to replace for an integrated washer dryer. After looking around I noticed that most have a width of 60cm or just under which is standard.

After measuring the space I have it seems that it is a little under 60cm and is more like 595mm due to a dish washer being next to it and taking up a little extra room.

Has anyone got any suggestions or aware of any brands that sell integrated washer dryers which come up a little smaller than 595mm.

It could be they quote 60 cm but it's in reality 59.5. But that would be a risky assumption to work on. It would be interesting if you could find the specs for your current washing machine to see what is quoted.

No movement either side without removing dish washer

You probably need to contact the manufacturer, and ask them the exact measurements. Is there any way you could gain the extra width by moving a side? You will always have this problem off you can't.

There are a lot of freestanding washing machines that are 59 cm. Freestanding are best, but if it has to be built in fair enough.

My washing machine is on its way out and would need to replaced either way..

have the same issue with washing machines and washer dryers where they all state 600mm in specs

Aye that lends credence to my theory that they slightly overstate the measurements to make it less likely to not fit for the sake of a few mm. But you can't afford to risk it without knowing for sure.

Can you find a replacement washing machine that's quoted at 59.5 that will definitely fit? To be honest washer dryers aren't very good, and most people who buy them end up not using the dryer.

Yea I did and it says 595 but when I measure it it is more like 590.

I tried talking to various suppliers and they all just give me the same answer that if the gap is 600 it will fit.

I was hoping that someone on here would have a integrated washer dryer and measure it and tell me theirs is under 595!
