Stacking Dissimilar Washer & Dryer

My great Miele W3033 washer has terminally failed (needing a modern Miele replacement), while my trusty T8002 dryer of the same era keeps going.

Due to space limitations, I must stack my dryer on my washer. Unfortunately, the new washer ( WXD160) is of a different dimension than my dryer; same width but deeper). The Miele stacking kit for use with the new washer will not allow the old dryer to be secured.

Any suggestions for how to modify something so that I can continue to use my old dryer with my new washer? I really don’t want to buy a new dryer.
