Vibration on spin
Hi everyone.
I have recently bought a Miele WT1 washer dryer. It works well but on spin it vibrates like crazy, its on joist floor with a thick vibration absorbing mat underneath it
Question is does anyone else have trouble with these machines shaking on spin!

Hi Alan. Miele washing machines are very heavy, and transfer a lot of vibration through the floor. If it's otherwise quiet it may be there is nothing wrong. Miele say that their washing machines should be on a concrete floor. However, as far as I know this is never mentioned on sales text.
I wouldn't expect it should be too bad, I reckon most Miele washing machines are likely to be on wooden floors. It's likely to be better in a corner, but it may make things around it shake and vibrate.

Aye a sprung floor is the worst. If you could site it in a corner that would probably help.

Hi Andy
Thank you for taking the time to reply.
Your right Miele are a bit vague on this issue and when I asked them about this issue they said more or less the same thing, recommend a concrete floor but as all my floors are suspended then its a bit difficult, however I'm talking to the joiners forum about reinforcement to the existing set up, 18 mm ply glued and screwed. So here's hoping but disappointed that this machine dances around as much as the previous Beko machine especially on half loads with towels etc ,
