Beko with inverter motor clicks when washing with water

Hello. So Ive acquired a beko wtl104121w 10kg which is a couple years old. I understand its an inverter motor so no carbon brushes. When it washes with water in, when the motor torques or starts to spin up, it clicks and less so once maintaining speed. But annoying. No click spinning by hand, no clicks in spin cycle or once water drains/drained. Any ideas on a fix? I havent inspected the filter yet only as isnt where the sound comes from. The placement of machine is exposed on the left side. The sound doesnt come from the front but more near the back, id say mid to lower area of machine. I have searched online for a while and little i can find relating to inverter type machines. I cannot find anything stuck in drum. Prior owner doesnt seem to know about this. Thank you

Hi there. Unfortunately despite listening 4 times I can only really hear the tapping of the water on the door glass. I think I might be able to faintly detect something in the background, but audio recordings tend to have automatic level control and compression that makes everything sound a bit different and often emphasises particular sounds.

What does it sound like with no laundry inside when you just turn the drum by hand from the front? In other words, if it is the physical action of the motor turning that is creating this noise, then it should in theory still be there if you turn the drum by hand. Another thing to try is to take off the drive belt and see if the motor makes this noise when it is turning. When the drum is turning, you have the drum and the motor turning at the same time, so it's often impossible to be sure where the noise is coming from with them both running.

Also, does it make this noise when the water has pumped away in the drum is just agitating the laundry?

To be honest my impression was that the ticking noise was the water being thrown against the door glass. Does the ticks g calm down when there are soap suds in the drum?

If there is a ticking noise other than the water it can only be traced by unplugging machine and taking off the back panel and drive best and turning the drum and motor to hear what is making it.

Thank you Andy. When i turn the drum empty there is a slight tick when one of the plastic jet/lump things pass the upper drum. However the ticking when motor powers up only happens when water is in the drum. When water has drained, no ticking. Ive emptied the drain and was a sticker in there but mostly clean. Ive looked with a torch inside the drum lumps (forgot what they called and tried best to look around inside drum. Nothing i can really seen. Was hoping something with come out of drain, thinking something floating when water rises. The ticking isnt as bad once drums maintaining speed. But aye, no ticking when no water and its spinning. Thanjs
